It starts with defined and complete estimates that include all the materials and labor needed for a project against a set budget. From those documents, the original purchase orders are created, in essence buying out the job in advance. The NAHB webinar Purchase Orders for Profit, scheduled for Aug. 1, 2-3 p.m. EDT, will show participants how to successfully implement and optimize a Purchase Order System to create efficiency, accountability and, ultimately, increase profits. Master Instructor John Barrows will teach participants how to:
  • Set up a complete Purchase Order System
  • Use purchase orders to improve estimating
  • Capture change orders within purchase orders
