to showcase the latest workplace safety solutions with daily microlearning presentations and exhibitors specializing in cutting-edge construction safety products in the inaugural IBS Jobsite Safety Zone
— located in booth N663 of the North exhibition hall.
Siding manufacturer James Hardie (Safety Zone booth N662) will be introducing a new safety program created specifically for siding contractors in partnership with the NAHB Safety 365 campaign. The company also will be staging product demonstrations and best practices at its outdoor booth (P20) and showcasing its line at its main booth in the Central Hall (C2529).
Little Giant Ladder Systems (Safety Zone booth N567) will be holding demonstrations of and allowing show attendees to try out its new 3-in-1 ladder solution designed specifically for home builders.
Super Anchor Safety (Safety Zone booth N664) will be showcasing its professional-grade fall protection equipment for anyone working at heights.
Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Safety Zone booth N768) invites attendees to discuss their safety programs. The firm provides legal assistance to employers on preventive practice, including conducting full-scale safety and health compliance audits, reviewing and revising corporate safety and health policies, and conducting manager and supervisor training on employee safety and health.
Stop by the Safety Zone for “Ask the Safety Pros,” where nationally recognized construction safety experts from Safety Environmental Engineering, Inc. will be on hand to answer tough construction safety questions.
There also will be demonstrations and microlearning sessions throughout the day, including a series of tips for improving jobsite safety on topics including:
- Fall protection, featuring a presentation using the 3M Virtual Reality Training system
- Ladder safety
- Distracted driving
