Tim Rini More about Tim Rini Tim Rini, AIA, NCARB, MBA, CAPS, CLIPP, CFE Tim Rini serves as the Vice President of Product Design at Epcon Communities in Dublin, Ohio. Prior to his current position, Tim was Vice President of the Epcon’s Franchise company where he was responsible for P&L and franchise operations. While in that position, the Franchise company received several industry awards, including being recognized for Franchisee Satisfaction in 2018. Tim earned a B.S. in Architecture at The Ohio State University, an M.B.A. from Xavier University, and completed post-graduate studies in Real Estate Finance at Ohio State and Public Relations at Akron University. Tim earned a Certificate of Franchise Management from Georgetown University. Much of Tim’s career has focused on business management and residential land development where he has been responsible for site acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, A&D financing, and horizontal construction. Tim has also worked as a construction superintendent, as manager of estimating and purchasing for a commercial general contractor, in residential property management, corporate real estate, and as a project architect. Tim is a Registered Architect in Ohio with N.C.A.R.B. certification and holds an Ohio Real Estate Broker’s License. He has earned the Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation from the N.A.H.B. and the Certified Living in Place Professional (CLIPP) designation from the Living In Place Institute. Tim is also a Certified Franchise Executive. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio, and as President of the Columbus Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. As an undergrad, Tim was a Squad Leader in The Ohio State University Marching Band.
