Tim Beckman More about Tim Beckman Tim Beckman has almost 2 decades of experience as a BIM professional. The bulk of his career has been w/ CG Visions, a software service & software provider focusing on the pragmatic adoption of technology by the residential and light commercial construction industries. Simpson Strong-Tie fully acquired CG Visions in 2017 and Tim moved into a role of Director of Customer Facing Software in the subsequent years. This position has permitted the closer alignment of the Simpson Strong-Tie suite of software related products & services which meets the needs of various disciplines within the construction industry, including but not limited to builders, framers, lumber & builder material suppliers, suppliers, component manufacturers, architects, engineers, designers, inspectors, etc. He has a proven track record of developing strategic technical partnerships and identifying how Simpson Strong-Tie software and services best fit into the industry. Tim’s knowledge and understanding of BIM technology and its significance to the construction industry, instills confidence with clients and develops high-performing teams. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University with a concentration in Construction Technology and a MBA from Butler University in Indianapolis.
