John Hourihan More about John Hourihan John Hourihan grew up watching This Old House. He entered the trades as a laborer at the age of 16. He worked as a carpenter through college, where he earned his construction management degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He continued work as a carpenter on his own and then went on to work for various companies as Director of Operations. John is currently the owner of Vintage Builders Inc. serving the Boston area, and co-host of The Modern Craftsman podcast. John is also a brand ambassador for Fine Homebuilding magazine.
