Dawn Davidson More about Dawn Davidson Dawn graduated from Woodbury University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design/Architecture. She launched Design Line Interiors in 1985, at the age of 25. Design Line has designed thousands of interiors over the years, covering numerous facets within the homebuilding industry, including model homes, sales offices, multi-family buildings, commercial projects, community club houses, and boutique hotels. Dawn was inducted into the San Diego BIA'’s Hall of Fame in 2007, an honor given to only six women over the past 22 years. She served as President of the San Diego Sales and Marketing Council and is a Life Director. She has also served on the BIA Cares Board of Directors as well as the San Diego BIA's Board of Directors. In 2011, Dawn was inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation’s Hall of Fame, making her the eighth woman to be inducted over the previous 27 years. Dawn was also the recipient of the BIA's "Building Professional of the Year" and "Design Professional of the Year" awards and was named one of San Diego Business Journal’s “10 Women to Watch.” She was nominated for San Diego Magazine’s “Woman of the Year”. Dawn and her husband, Bill Davidson, President of Davidson Communities, co-chaired PCBC in 2013 and 2015. Dawn has also served as chairperson for numerous charity events and organizations over the years. Her life is continually engaged and enriched by spending time with her son, Jonathan, and daughters Jameson and Barret and Bill’s children Will, Nicole, and Chris.
