Mark Woolley More about Mark Woolley Mark is President and CEO of BuildTec Solutions, LLC, a built environment consulting company specializing in best practices education, training, construction defect and forensic discovery, operational excellence, trade partner relations, land entitlement and development, as well as government relations. He is a fifth-generation homebuilder and has held multiple leadership and executive positions. His responsibilities have ranged across design, land planning and entitlement, product development, human resources, training, estimating and purchasing, production, quality control, sustainability, strategic planning, marketing and sales to warranty and customer relations. Mark currently serves as Chair of the Planning Commission in his community. He previously served as the Chair of both the Economic Development Council and Task Force on HOA/PUD’s. Industry involvement includes serving on both local and state government affairs and ethics committees. Mark is a past president of the Salt Lake Home Builders Association, and sits on their governing board as a life member. He has served as a board member of the Home Builders Association of Utah as well as being a former director for the National Association of Home Builders. His peers awarded him the Golden Hammer in 2003 as well as the Builder of the Year in 2005 for service and contributions in the building industry. Mark is a Certified Trainer with the NAHB University of Housing, and holds the Master Certified Green Professional, and Certified Graduate Builder designations with the National Association of Home Builders. He and his wife are the parents of four children and have thirteen grandchildren. Mark enjoys the outdoors, swimming, being with family, reading and traveling.
