Our expert will review typical contractual indemnity provisions found in construction contracts and the pitfalls associated with having contradictory indemnity provisions.
Participants in this webinar will:
- Discuss the typical contractual indemnity provisions in a construction contract and identify the pitfalls associated with contradictory indemnity provisions
- Examine the allowable scope of indemnity (i.e. whether a party can be obligated to indemnify another party for its own fault, whether a party can be obligated to indemnify another party who is partially at fault)
- Review the language owners and contractors should look for in their contracts to maximize their ability to transfer risk and minimize their exposure to another party’s risk
