What are the key features of the new site?

Nahb.org was completely redeveloped from the inside out. Beyond its all-new design with enhanced visuals and more dynamic content, the site features an upgraded search engine to improve discoverability of relevant information, as well as an upgraded e-commerce engine with enhanced security. User dashboards and profiles were rebuilt to show at-a-glance information and to add a public profile feature for member networking. It also seamlessly integrates with the new e-learning platform, association management system and events system.

Am I required to log in to view the site?

Much of the content on this site is viewable without having to log in. However, there are numerous resources and industry insights throughout nahb.org that can be accessed only by members and/or those with certain user accounts. When not logged in and attempting to access restricted content, you will first be prompted to log in.

How do I log in?

If you had an account on the previous website, click the “Login” link in the top-right corner of nahb.org. Your username and password are the same as they were on the previous website. If you forgot your password, click the “Reset Password” button on the right-hand side of the Login page. If you continue having trouble logging in, please email nahbsupport@nahb.org for assistance.

Those who did not have an account on the previous website will need to create one. On the right-hand side of the Login page, click the “Register” button and enter your information in the required fields. A confirmation email will then be sent with further instructions.

What is my member profile?

This new website provides an improved, easy-to-use directory of member profiles to enhance engagement and networking opportunities. If you already had a profile on the previous website, your basic information was brought over to the new website.

How do I edit my profile?

You will want to ensure your profile information is up to date. Once you are logged in, go to the My Profile page where you can customize your user dashboard and make edits to your profile page. You can also add a new profile photo, a short biography and links to your social accounts.

Where can I view my purchases and invoices?

After logging in, you can view your recent purchases and billing history by clicking on the “My Purchases & Billing” tab within your profile. There you will also find order numbers, order and payment dates, and any invoices awaiting payment. If you think there might be an error on your account, email nahbsupport@nahb.org or call 800-368-5242 for assistance. 

Where are the directories?

All NAHB directories are conveniently located on one webpage which can accessed from the drop-down navigation under “NAHB Community” located near the top of the site. Contact information is available for NAHB leaders, state and local associations, industry professionals with specific designations and other individuals in the NAHB Federation. However, several directories are for members only and require members to log in before viewing. 

What happens to the webpages from the old website that I bookmarked?

To make the website more intuitive, much of its content was revised and reorganized. In doing so, many of the web addresses from the old site were changed. If you bookmarked any of these webpages, you will want to update your bookmarks with addresses from the new site. One of the easiest ways to find specific content on the new website is to use the search bar at the top of the page.
