Sarah Smith, Blue Ridge Log Cabins
Sarah Smith has capitalized on new business opportunities for Blue Ridge Log Cabins in her role as marketing director. Smith’s efforts have put Blue Ridge Log Cabins in front of a national audience on HGTV and the DIY Channel, including a 2011 episode of Extreme Home Makeover that featured then-First Lady Michele Obama and a home the company built for a homeless veteran. Smith has also expanded Blue Ridge’s footprint, as the modular log home manufacturer now ships to 32 states. She recently coordinated an international project in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Smith also designed and launched the company’s Luxe Log Cabin line, which has won two Jerry Rouleau awards for home design.
