Chairman of the Board
Joe Robson, a builder and developer from Tulsa, Oklahoma is NAHB's Chairman of the Board. He is the founder and President of The Robson Companies, Inc.; developers of residential communites and commercial properties.
Bob Jones, a home builder in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is NAHB's First Vice Chairman of the Board. He specializes in land development and the design and construction of single-family luxury homes.
Robert F. Nielsen
Second Vice Chairman of the Board
Bob Nielsen, President of Shelter Properties, Inc., from Reno, Nevada is NAHB’s Second Vice Chairman of the Board. He owns and operates a building and development company headquartered in Northern Nevada, and has built and developed properties in Washoe County, Lyon County, Clark County, as well as numerous communities within California.
Barry Rutenberg is a third-generation builder in Gainesville, Florida where he has built over 1,000 homes during a 35-year career, and earned a reputation for quality construction and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Sandra J. Dunn Immediate Past Chairman of the Board
Sandy Dunn, a second-generation home builder from Point Pleasant, West Virginia is NAHB's Immediate Past Chairman of the Board. She owns and operates B.J. Builders, Inc. which specializes in single-family, entry-level homes. The company was founded by her father more than 50 years ago.
With more than 17 years of lobbying and association experience in Washington, DC, Jerry Howard is NAHB's President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, he was the Senior Staff Vice President of NAHB's Government Affairs Division.

2009 National Area Chairmen
NAHB's National Area Chairmen are elected by the Board of Directors to represent the interests and concerns of members from their area and the interests of Associate members. They work closely with the Senior Officers of the Board, forming a vital communications link between NAHB and the leaders and members in each area as well as Associate members.
