New Education Product Proposal

Member Education Proposal (MEP)

NAHB Education continually seeks to expand its offerings. To ensure that the very best education is available to NAHB members, NAHB has developed a formal process to review product proposals. The NAHB Education Committee reviews new product proposals submitted through its Member Education Proposal (MEP) process. The new product review and approval recommendation process is conducted throughout the year.

If you would like to propose a new education product (e.g., course, conference, designation, seminar), please read the instructions below, then proceed to the linked documents.

1. Contact Robert Ebbin (Phone: 800-368-5242 x8058, email: rebbin@nahb.org) to discuss your new education product ideas. Robert will put you in contact with the appropriate NAHB staff who are content experts, and who work with NAHB committees and councils (otherwise called “stakeholders”). Initial endorsement by stakeholders is required for a MEP to be considered by the NAHB Education Committee.

A proposal must have the endorsement of a committee or chairperson before the MEP can be submitted.

2. The Stakeholder will complete the appropriate Member Education Proposal form.

 3. The Stakeholder submits the MEP to Robert Ebbin at rebbin@nahb.org.

This process does not apply to seminars proposed for the International Builders' Show.
