 Classroom SettingThe NAHB Education Committee has oversight and responsibility for development, delivery, management and evaluation of all education programs.

NAHB members and other builders, remodelers, sales professionals and additional members of the home building industry rely on the Education Committee’s offerings to gain the knowledge and expertise that help them grow their businesses and advance their careers.

The Education Committee has oversight of all NAHB’s professional designations, including the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP).

The committee works with stakeholders to develop the content for NAHB’s well-respected educational seminars and classes at the International Builders’ Show, the Remodeling Show and other industry events. It oversees instructor training and licensing within state and local home building associations to provide educational programs nation-wide.

The NAHB Education Committee explores emerging trends and key industry issues through the weekly Webinar Wednesdays Woman with Computere-learning series. The committee also oversees the development of online education such as the Customer ServiceBasics of BuildingEffective Marketing on a Shoestring Budget and Certified New Home Sales Professional courses for building industry professionals, with more online courses in the works.
