NAHB Honors Building Systems Industry Leaders at Annual Awards Presentation
October 23, 2013 - The National Building Systems Councils (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) bestowed 23 achievement awards to leading manufacturers and builders in the systems-built industry with the 2014 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design.
The BSC annual awards acknowledge the best marketing strategies and innovative home designs for concrete, log, modular and panelized homes. In the marketing category, winners included companies that used Pinterest boards and Facebook pages to drive sales traffic, while winners in the home design category included unique smaller log cabins and sprawling modular home estates.
“While the housing industry began to pick up over the last year, the winners were moving forward by implementing new marketing tactics to drive potential home buyers to their sites,” said 2013 BSC Chairman Kevin Flaherty of Champion Home Builders. “These winners also developed new home designs that incorporate what the new buyer is looking for: open floor plans and energy efficiency.”
Images of the winning projects will be displayed at the NAHB International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Feb. 4-6, 2014.
