What is a RSS/Web Feed and How to Subscribe

NAHB offers RSS (real simple syndication) feeds – or web feeds – to its latest news releases, education events, and courses.  Published by NAHB, these feeds can be used by individuals via a RSS reader or in conjunction with a website. Local HBAs can use them to publish content directly to their own sites, enabling members to find up-to-the-minute industry information or  education offerings around the country. 

To subscribe to a feed, look for the RSS icon RSS Feed Iconin the NAHB toolbar (where available) and click on it to subscribe instantly. The following web feeds are available from nahb.org:
If you'd like to add this content as a widget on your website, follow these steps:
1. Click on the RSS icon on the page you'd like to receive the feed
2. Copy the URL
4. Paste the URL into the box labeled "RSS Feed URL". Hit "Create Widget"
5. Preview the widget in the pane on the left. You can adjust the size, color and other options
6. Copy the code in the bottom right box and paste onto your website where you'd like it to appear
