How do I become a CAASH?

 
Curriculum and other Requirements:
  • Successfully complete 3 required courses in the Active Adult Professional Development Series
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in the 50+ housing field
  • Adhere to the CAASH Code of Ethics 
Required Courses (Choose 3):
Associated Fees:
  • Local course fees: determined by the local HBA
  • Graduation fee: $145 members, $245 non-members
  • Renewal fee: $55 annually for members, $80 for non-members
Continuing Education Requirements:
  • 6 Continuing Education (CE) hours every 3 years (from date of graduation)

*The CHARTER CAASH garners special recognition to individuals for  having 10 or more years of 50+ housing experience and completing at least 80 elective credits from a variety of 50+ housing educational activities (Founders) or for having achieved the designation of CHARTER CAASH by completing the original requirements of having a minimum of 3 years experience in the 50+ housing field, taken the 3 required CAASH courses and completed at least 50 elective credits from a variety of 50+ housing educational activities (Designees).
