National Survey of Statutory Authority and Practical Considerations for the Implementation of Inclusionary Zoning Ordinances

This report is based on research conducted for NAHB by Shipman & Goodwin LLP and provides an accessible guide for communities considering adopting inclusionary zoning ordinances as well as a sampling of the comprehensive list of issues that should be considered in drafting and implementing such ordinances.
It is divided into three major parts: (1) Research Summary, which explains the methodology; (2) 40 State Statutory Survey; and (3) Practical Considerations for Developing and Implementing Inclusionary Zoning Ordinances.
