NAHB Education launched its Educator of the Year awards to honor the top instructors for its professional designations. The awards reward those who best promote the value of earning NAHB designations across the industry, serve as mentors to their fellow educators and contribute to the overall growth of NAHB designations programs.
Educator of the Year awards are presented in the following categories:
To be eligible to receive this award, instructors must be current and in good standing, have taught at least a minimum of four classes over the past two years, and achieved an average speaker rating of at least 4.0 on a 5-point scale for all courses taught during that period. Educator the Year winners must showcase innovative practices to promote NAHB designations. Members of the relevant designation board of governors and HBA staff members are not eligible.
Nominations may be made by any person or organization actively participating in the respective designation program, including home builders associations licensed to offer NAHB courses. Self-nominations are accepted.
