2009 NAHB Fall Membership Drive

Membership DefendersThank you for participating in the 2009 Fall Drive! Your effort and participation are greatly appreciated by NAHB and your fellow Membership Defenders.

Your success in September, October and November is evaluated according to the following criteria:

  1. Percentage change of the starting membership base -- starting membership base is June 2009 data. Suppose that right now Team A has 4,904 members. If at the end of the competition they have 5,149 they will have achieved a 5% increase. Please note that it will be possible to achieve a negative increase in this category.
  2. Percentage change in starting retention rate -- starting retention rate is June 2009 data. Suppose also that right now Team A has a retention rate of 58.9%. They will be evaluated on the positive/negative change in this number at the conclusion of the campaign. We don’t expect that you will be able to achieve significant changes to this metric, but incremental changes here will be weighted as heavily as the percentage increase of your membership number.
  3. Mark your calendar! Report your projected recruitment and retention numbers each month on or before the dates below to membership@nahb.com.* If you require assistance projecting your month-end retention rate, please contact Gabrielle Taylor at gtaylor@nahb.com or 800-368-5242, ext. 8351.
