Livable Communities LogoWhen it comes to their homes, Americans of all ages want the same thing – a safe and comfortable home in a vibrant community. The 2009 Livable Communities Awards, co-sponsored by AARP and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), will recognize builders, remodelers, developers, architects and planners who build and design homes and communities that improve everyday comfort, safety and personal independence.
