Call for Nominations
The Bill Polley Advocate of BUILD PAC Award was established to recognize the most outstanding local, state and national Associate member advocate of BUILD PAC, the NAHB political action committee. Named in honor of the late Bill Polley, the award acknowledges the Associate member who best epitomizes Bill’s ardent loyalty and support.
Do you know an Associate member who is an avid advocate for BUILD PAC and is working hard to raise dollars and awareness? This would include those Associates who are working to raise BUILD PAC dollars through peer-to-peer methods and those who help put on fundraising and educational events. If so, please nominate this person for the 2014 Bill Polley Advocate of BUILD PAC Award.
The award will be presented at the Associates' Awards Breakfast at the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas in January 2015.
The winner of the 2013 award was Larry Hott, CAPS of R.L. Hott Designs in Ruston, La.
All NAHB Associate members are invited to submit nominations. A three-judge panel will review the nominations. The judges include a past Associate Committee chair, BUILD PAC Subcommittee chair and BUILD PAC Subcommittee vice-chair. In the event of a tie, either the current or past vice chair for BUILD PAC would review the applications for the top two nominees and choose the winner.
The judges select the winner based on his or her demonstrated BUILD PAC advocacy at ALL levels of NAHB, including:
