CONSTRUCTION FORECAST CONFERENCE WEBCAST Watching the Construction Forecast Conference Webcast is Easy! If you can't attend the Construction Forecast Conference in person, you can still participate through the CFC Webcast. Curious if your computer is capable of running a webcast? So long as you have Java or Windows Media Player installed--you will have no problems! Approximately one week before the Construction Forecast Conference, you will receive an e-mail from NAHB with set-up instructions and a link to conference handouts. This e-mail will also include a mock webcast which will help you tune your computer to the right settings and alert you if updated or or additional software is needed (which can easily be downloaded from the web). Contact numbers for technical questions will also be included. Once the conference begins at 9:00 AM EST, you will see it as it happens live, including all presentation slides. You can even participate in Q & A sessions and have your questions answered live by using the convenient on-screen links. Ten business days after the conference you'll have full access to the video archive of all of the presentations for convenient on-demand viewing for three months. The Conference is held at the National Housing Center, just blocks from The White House and a number of government agencies. Airports Washington, DC is conveniently located near three major airports. Reagan National Airport is located approximately 4 miles from the NAHB Housing Center (accessible via Metro), Washington Dulles International Airport (25 miles from the National Housing Center) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (accessible via Amtrak). Train Washington, DC is accessible via Amtrak by way of Union Station. Union Station is less than two miles from the National Housing Center and is also accessible via Metro. |
