This award seeks to recognize those builders who are furthering green building through the homes that they construct.  Project types that are eligible for this award are single family attached or detached homes, affordable or luxury, production or custom, and market ready or concept/research.

Projects being entered in this category do not have to be certified to the ICC 700-2008 National Green Building Standard™ or the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines but they must be scored to it by using the Online Green Scoring Tool available at www.nahbgreen.org.
