The Association Excellence Awards (AEA) is an annual awards program designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of state and local HBAs and executive officers in the field of association management. The awards program is two-fold, the Association Awards and the Individual Awards.

The Association Awards offer a wide variety of category choices for all HBAs to enter. For more information, please see the
Association Entry General Criteria. The Association Award categories are divided and judged by association size, so all associations have an opportunity to be recognized for their achievements.
Association Awards Size Categories (based on total membership size [including affiliate members] on 12/31/2009)
350 Members or Fewer
351 – 750 Members
751+ Members
State Association (any size)

The Individual Awards recognize individual executive officers for their accomplishments.
