203 - The Small Office Honor Award

Awards Category Description and Benefits of Entering:

Named after the late executive officer of the Arrowhead BA (MN), Rachel Manley, this award is presented in recognition of an executive officer of a small association who has been judged to be an exceptionally effective manager in spite of limited resources.

 

Criteria:

A. Candidates must have served a minimum of three years (cumulative) as a full or part-time executive officer by December 31, 2006 of a NAHB-affiliated state or local association.

 

B. Candidates’ associations must have at least two of the following as of December 31, 2006:

  1. membership of 300 or less;
  2. staff size of two or less; including the executive officer;
  3. an annual gross budget of less than $250,000.

C. Candidates should exhibit creativity within budget limitations and promote activity within the association


Fees:
No fee for entry.
