The Association Excellence Awards (AEA) is an annual awards program designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of state and local HBAs and executive officers in the field of association management. The awards program is two-fold, the Association Awards (
categories 101 - 123) and the Individual Awards (
categories 201 - 204).
The Association Awards offer a wide variety of category choices for all HBAs to enter. For more information, please see the
Association Entry General Criteria. The Association Award categories are divided and judged by association size, therefore all associations have equal opportunity to be recognized for their achievements.
Association Awards Size Categories (based on membership size)
250 or less • 251 - 500 • 501 - 750 • 751 - 1000 • 1000+ • State Association - any size
