Energy Efficiency Tax Credits
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct), provides tax credits of up to $2000 to eligible contractors for the construction of new energy-efficient homes.  This tax credit is effective through December 31, 2008.  Do your projects qualify? Learn more here.

Proposed changes to the IECC require costly increases to envelope requirements in all homes. These changes do not provide a significant energy savings, nor are they necessarily cost effective. In fact, they would add cost to an average home. Below are tools for you to use in educating code officials on why these are bad changes for builders and bad changes for consumers.
