Congratulations to the Winners of the 2008 Best of 50+ Housing Awards Competition!
The NAHB 50+ Housing Council announced the winners for the 2008 Best of 50+ Housing Awards competition during the 2008 Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium in New Orleans, La. This annual award highlights the latest trends in design and marketing for the 50+ housing industry. This year's winners illustrate the evolution of the 50+ market, addressing the need for tailored services, unique amenities and innovative architecture, all while promoting better living.

Also recognized at the awards gala were Leonard Kohl and Bonnie Solomon, CAASH, as the 2008 Icons of the Industry. Kohl was recognized for his decades of service in building and developing active adult communities, while Solomon, a two-time chair of the NAHB 50+ Housing Council, was honored for her achievements in management, operations and service to NAHB and the 50+ Housing Council.
